Voice Over Production

Voice over production and audio editing is an essential part of any project that requires dubbing, editing or mixing. Whether you’re recording yourself or employing professional vocal talent, professional equipment is the key to ensuring that production value remains full and budget remains average. Anyone in charge of a project in need of voice over production cannot afford to dismiss quality in the process of finalizing the project. Even if your budget is slimmer than average, you can still receive top of the line voice over production to fit your price range without having to resort to a cheap microphone and a laptop. Opting to outsource to a professional production facility can easily be thought of as money well spent.

When you need the words to match a specific period, plan on three words per second. Being ready to coach your talent for speaking a little more slowly and distinctly than usual is also advised. Poorly pronounced words and bizarre speech patterns can affect the quality of the finished product and have an adverse effect on the customers you are attempting to target. It is worth the time and effort to choose a production studio with knowledge and and a proven track record. Outsourcing your voice over work can keep you on track as well as guarantee the quality of your work will be professional. Without it, you may be forced to deliver the lines all on your own.

Amidst highs and lows of the last year, the Leeds office market witnessed its largest property deal of the last five years. Though the total office space uptake saw a decline of 19% as compared to the average uptake of last decade, the situation seems to be improving.

According to the Leeds Offices Market View released by CB Richard Ellis, last year registered a total lease of 403,800sq ft in contrast to the average lease of 496,000 sq ft for the last ten years.

However, 2009 ended on a positive note with office space deals of more than 160,000 sq ft singed in the last few months of the year. These deals included the largest deal in last five years wherein Yorkshire Water acquired more than 55,000 sq ft of the Livingstone House in Clarence Dock.

Speaking on the overall trend in the rent desk space market, Director of the CBRE Leeds office agency, Jonathon Shires pointed out that the region is witnessing an upward development in the office space market with Yorkshire proving to be the strong in the face of economic downturn.

He also added that the economic revival has enabled smaller start up businesses to come out of their cocoons and provide more employment and established businesses to cut down on subleased transactions totalling to 90% of all rentals agreements entered into in 2009. He also added that the in addition to the public sector, the business services sector will remain a major player in the office space market with around 30% of the market share.

Perhaps the most dramatic change in how companies function these days is in communications. Whereas previously, a business would rely on printed media like magazines, newspapers, and industry journals, nowadays we have the internet. This has greatly influenced how companies conduct public relations. With the introduction of blogging, suddenly we’re receiving friendly updates direct from CEOs rather than the normal polite, formal editorials usually located in their monthly publication. Not only that, but we’re getting more updates from corporations too, as websites are constantly updated. With the recent advent of sites like Twitter, corporations are also microblogging too.

Not only that, but the internet has made communication far less passive and much more involved. Now those surfing the web actively vote for your advert by clicking on it, or sign up to your mailing list, or ask questions immediately to you via your website forms. With this activity, we understand so much more in terms of target markets due to their “footprint” they make with their actions. Therefore it’s critical that an organization can respond to the opinions left by their visitors and form their marketing messages accordingly.

With such dramatic changes, does it mean corporations have more power to ensure how the general public perceives them? Yes it does. Business organizations are now setting aside increasingly more time on PR, as a lot more new opportunities have become available with new technologies. With that added control nonetheless, there is the elevated opportunity of making faults too, thus we are of the opinion that it is better to hire a public relations company first. You can learn a great deal from them. How do they utilize the internet? They have acquired experience in understanding what works, and what isn’t effective. They can rapidly identify your weaknesses and improve your specialties in terms of your relationship with the public. A good location to get started with in terms of finding a public relations firm is a search engine. Just enter a keyphrase like public relations agency and you will quickly get a number of public relations businesses ready to assist your company’s needs.

There are a number of ideas about what are the best ways to promote a website and about the best ways to attract more visitors to a website. In my opinion, it is important to start up a link building campaign to increase the number of websites which have a link to your site on their site. This is one proven method which has been successful in achieving high rankings for many different sites, however there are some important factors to keep in mind when attempting to build up this link network.

If you have a new site and are desperate to achieve top rankings on the top search engines such as google, think again. Most of these search engines will probably not give your new site a high ranking until it has become established. This is where the age of the domain is important. You can not in reality expect to be placed in a higher search position than a site which has been around for eight years and which has been building up links, during this period. This is where patience is required, you should see your site as something which is going to be online for a long time and hopefully in time, some of the other sites that you are competing with will have dropped out etc.

This is the same attitude that should be applied when building up the number of backward links pointing to your site. Going from only a few, to a few thousand in a short space of time may not be the best idea. Regular increases are in my opinion the way to go and quality is just as important as quantity. Decide the ways in which you are planning to obtain your backward links and try to ensure that you obtain roughly the same amount each month, where possible of course. Over a long period of time this strategy is sure to pay dividends and your search engine position should steadily improve. You will then have an authority site, which all new sites will be aspiring to compete with. Like many areas of life we do not really want to wait for our success and want immediate rewards, such as high rankings. On some search engines this may be possible but on most it will require hard work and this type of patience.

The links that you obtain should where possible be from sites which are in a similar industry or subject matter, to your own site. This is a lot easier said than done however. If your site is very well written, optimised and of use to a large number of people, you may well receive links on other sites without the need to request the link. This is of course exactly what you want and is why it is important to spend time thinking of how your site is written and presented.

A good way of obtaining a link to your site is to write a reference or testimonial to owners of other sites with which you have had dealings with. Offer to write them this testimonial which of course will be of great benefit to them, on the understanding that they will include a link back to your site at the bottom.

I personally concentrate on obtaining one-way links as I believe these to have the most value. One way I do this is by writing articles such as the one you are reading. There are a great number of benefits of writing articles which can be read at most of the article directories such as ezinearticles. I would certainly recommend it to other people who are thinking of starting up a link building campaign.

A prospect’s mind is an intimate place where something I call The Inner Score Keeping System dwells.

Simply put, it’s a fundamental model that you can use as a metaphor to help explain the way prospects govern their inner decision-making.

It’s true that a potential buyer will profile several things in the background while evaluating an offer. Many little decisions are made along the way that lead up to the BIG yes or no final decision.

Some of these are subconscious thoughts while other times one may even notice their own mind chatter. However, in any case, a decision process is in action.

In the situation where a prospect is evaluating a sales offer, here is an overview of events going on deep inside the prospect’s mind.

While responding to the offer, the prospect instinctively invokes a scoring system, which helps in evaluating the offer.

We ALL have this judgment system inside of us that we respond with.

This Inner Score Keeping System occurs mostly behind the scenes as we don’t focus on the inner process. Although it is transparent to us, it’s still there.

It deals with the balancing scale of acceptance and rejection. When we buy, it assists us in weighing our decisions based on emotions and logic.

When positive emotions are triggered in a sales offer, they theoretically score acceptance points, which are intended to collectively add-up over rejection. Rejection points always lean toward discouraging the buy.

Thus, in this virtual score-keeping setting, points equal positive or negative measurements of emotions (or logic) in proportion to the sales offer. This inner-judgment that we invisibly process, determines the outcome of the offers we evaluate.

We, as the prospective buyer, keep calculating this inner score in the background. The sales copy attempts to win us over by scoring maximum acceptance points, provoking the action to buy.

You know when you get a gut feeling ‘to buy or not to buy’, this is our inner score keeping system I am talking about. It regulates our buying behaviors and helps us make buying decisions.

Thus, when a prospect interfaces with a sales letter offer, it instinctively prompts this decision making process. It all comes down to a final response to the offer.

Ultimately, the prospect will either accept the offer to buy… or reject the offer and leave.

Hence: The Inner Score Keeping System.

The overall message I am suggesting here is to learn to think like a buyer if you want to get on the other side of the sale… the selling side.

Of course we all have plenty of buying experience. But, since we do no not usually think about the process when we buy, we miss the boat on knowing what actually makes us buy.

In other words, when we buy, we are not considering all of the elements that add up to the final buying decision. We just buy or pass on the offer.

However, there is much to be learned from this and thinking like a buyer is by far the best way to unlock your prospect’s mind to make the sale!
