Cheryl Cole is to perform her new song ‘Fight for this Love’ on X Factor with a live pre-recorded tape.

Her song will be recorded prior to the live show to an 800 strong audience because of judging commitments preventing her from doing it during the show itself.

Bosses for X factor confirmed the decision after the Sun wrote an article that she would not be singing her song, but miming it due to her being ‘terrified’ of failure.

But speaking to the London Lite, Cheryl confirmed her performance will be live adding:

“I just won’t have time to get changed and get prepared for the performance, and be a judge on the show. It would be too hectic.”

Meanwhile Sinitta who helped Simon in the judges houses, backed Cheryl to put in a good performance:

“She’s nervous but the track’s going well and everyone loves her. She’s at home so hopefully she’ll feel more relaxed on the night.” she added.

But Cheryl still has nerves as she reiterated this week: “The nerves started weeks ago. I love performing but I’ve sat for weeks judging people and now I’m putting myself out there to be judged.”

X Factor judge Cheryl Cole has reportedly blasted claims that she is planning to mime on the results show this weekend. The Geordie lass is scheduled to perform her debut solo single ‘Fight For This Love’.

She has confirmed that she will pre-record her performance with a live vocal taped earlier in the day in front of an audience of 800 people.

Cheryl told the Evening Standard: “I really don’t see the problem. I will be singing live.
